Wordsmith. Horsewoman. Musician. Maker and seer of magic. For most of my life, I've traveled outside the conventions of our culture, in the company of animals. There's something simple about this, that holds together the complexity of the human parts of the story.
I've felt and experienced things that feel like transmission I've received from the world, tinder bundles of possibility and hope. I've been carrying these things for years, and it's time to begin to unfurl. To offer them to you.

MY STORY
I grew up on a small farm on a dirt road in a part of small-town Ontario that no longer exists. After spending my childhood dreaming of horses, I saved up and bought my first mare when I was 17.
After several years of apprenticeship with top level trainers, I sold her and went out into the world, looking for art and different ways of being human upon the earth. When I got back into horses again, it was through the worlds of Equine Guided Learning and Terapeutic Riding specific to Autism.
I founded Mountain Horse School in 2012, and spent the next ten years creating my own curriculum and teaching methods to give young people the opportunity to experience the magic of shared embodied movement and the therapeutic and transformative effects of being in relationship with horses and the natural world.
In 2022, made the difficult decision to close my physical school. I wanted to share the teaching methods I'd developed through an online training program, and have time and space to dive more deeply into my explorations in herbalism, wildcrafting, Daoist Stone Medicine, somatics, eco-psychology, compassionate inquiry, and other healing arts.
What's emerging now in this online space is a beautiful synergy of the work I've been known for, with the interior work I've done as part of my own healing journey. I'm excited to see how it flowers out into the world.
